The Parents Anonymous® Peer Workforce Development Program prepares and supports the empowerment journey of individuals with lived experience to build meaningful careers in behavioral health, family support, and community systems. Through comprehensive training, certification pathways, professional development, and ongoing support, we strengthen the Peer Workforce to improve outcomes for children, families, and communities.

The program is grounded in Shared Leadership®, cultural responsiveness, and evidence-based practices. We equip Peer Support Specialists and aspiring peer professionals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in diverse service settings.

Full-service experience

We offer a full-service experience for Peers seeking to become Peer  Support Specialists. Here’s what you get when you join this training:

  • The official 80-hour training program certified by the State of California.
  • Vouchers to pay for the state certification exams.
